28.07.07 - CHANGE OF DATE AND VENUE FOR REGIONAL FINAL
Please note the Global Battle of the Bands regional final that Chick Flick will be competing for a spot for the national final at has changed date and venue.
The new date is Sat 27 September from 3PM at Kitty O'Shea Irish Bar on Caxton Street. Chick Flick are still up for a chance to get to Sydney for the national final if you can make it on the 27th September to vote!.
24.07.07 - CHICK FLICK WIN GLOBAL BATTLE OF THE BAND HEAT
Chick Flick conquered first place in the battle of the bands yesterday moving straight into the regional final that will be held on 31 August 08 at the Red Room (UQ Uni, St Lucia) at 2pm.
Winners of the regional final will then move into the National finals in Sydney on 3 November. For Chick Flick to be in for a chance we need your help!!! Be sure to come down on the 31 August 08 to be apart of the vote to get Chick Flick to the regionals. Full details here

27.07.08 - THANKS TO THE GLOBE & CHICK FLICK ROCK SYDNEY!
Quick thanks to all those that braved the cold wet weather on Thursday to come and see Chick Flick play at the Globe. We had alot of fun as usual, special shout out to Nick for his sound expertise and Dan on lights, Claire and our very own Chris on visuals. If you haven't had a chance to experience the Globe yet then your really missing out, the staff are great.
Chick Flick hit Sydney for the first time this coming weekend to play The Cat and the Fiddle, Saturday 2 August. So if you are in Sydney and looking for some rock action then come down and join us. Chick Flick hit the stage at 8pm. Full details here

13.07.08 - ROCKIN ON A SCHOOL NITE DOWN AT THE GLOBE
Lineup for Chick Flick playing at The Globe on Thursday 24 July has now be completed. Along for the ride with be local brissie talents, Lair Eon & Starscream16. This will be the last gig in Brisbane for a while for the chicks before they head to Sydney for their next show.

05.07.08 - CHICK FLICK ARE ROCKIN IN SYDNEY!
Chick Flick will spread the love when they rock out in Sydney at the Cat and the Fiddle on Saturday 2 August. So thankyou to all our Sydney fans for enduring the wait. The time is nearly here! More details on lineup with be annouced soon, destined to be a big night of rock n roll.
For the locals Chick Flick will be rockin on a school night at the Globe, Thursday the 24th July. What I hear it promises to be a big night for Chick Bands in brissie so stay tuned for details this coming week.

17.06.08 - A BIG WEEK TO CATCH THE FLICK!
A couple of great opportunities to catch Chick Flick in action this weekend, with The Hell City Glamours gig at the Step Inn (Brunswick St, The Valley) this Friday night 20 June where Chick Flick will heat the room up for the glamour boys' album launch show.
Along to keep the flame a light will also be JJ Speedball and The F1-Elevens . Doors open 8pm. Only $12 Entry, Chick Flick will be performing first to flare up the crowd.
And if that is not enough fuel for your fire, then catch Chick Flick again at the Step Inn this Saturday 21 June at 3pm as part of the spectacular 'Fete De La Musique' Festival - a free multicultural, multi-community music event - which takes place on June 21 in many countries around the world celebrating culture and community.
This is the very first time the event takes place in Brisbane, Chick Flick along with lots of other cool artists, which have been chosen to perform on the day at the Step Inn. More details available from this site www.brisbane.qld.gov.au

Chick Flick bat up for another rock and roll assult for a big rock and roll long weekend this Saturday Night at The Living Room. Mandy our new bass player impressed those who came out last week with her brush with the law at her first Chick Flick gig!
Chick Flick hit the stage nice and early this Saturday at 8:15pm so we can party with you all whilst The Eighth Colour, Adelle and Chamberland keep the rock rollin!

12.03.08 - NEXT STOP... SUNSHINE COAST
Thanks to everyone who came to our Gold Coast launch last week - Great to play at the Hard Rock Cafe again - special thanks to Cardboard Castle, The Heartbreak Club and Jesse from Hard Rock.
Next Chick Flick is loading up the gear and heading from the sandy shores of the Gold Coast to the just as sandy (maybe even sandier) shores of the Sunshine Coast for our next launch gig. We'll be rocking out at O'Malleys Mooloolaba Saturday the 22nd of March (easter saturday).
In the meantime - be on the lookout for some big updates to this site as we crank up video to full swing and launch our Youtube site with all new content from our current launch tour ... Stay tuned!
05.03.08 - GOLD COAST EP LAUNCH SHOW THIS FRIDAY!
Chick Flick are gearing up for the Hard Rock Cafe EP launch gig this Friday 7 March to treat the gold coast locals with a little taste of new EP 'Ladder 69'. It's gonna be a rocker with our newly found friends coming along for the ride, The Heartbreak Club and local gold coast boys, Cardboard Castle. Entry is only $10 and doors open at 9pm. Chick Flick will hit the stage around 10:45pm.

Well, Our Brisbane EP Launch has now come and gone - We'd like to thank everyone who came out to see us at The Globe - it was a fantastic night! If you missed the show - never fear... We will be taking out 'Ladder 69' launch show to the Gold Coast on March 7 and to the Sunshine Coast on March 22.

Plans are still rolling on, confirmed is the lineup for our Brisbane Launch for our latest EP 'Ladder 69" at the Globe on the 23 February. Drum
roll... and the winners are... Black Mustang, The Rumours (including member Mick Medew of the Screaming Tribesmen fame) and classic rock youngsters, 1989. We will fill you in on

26.12.07 - MERRY XMAS EVERYONE!
Merry Xmas!!!! Hope it was a cracker! Chick Flick continue to piece together plans to launch their new EP 'Ladder 69' early in 2008. The hunt a bass
player continues but by all means isn't stopping Chick Flick from continue to finely tune a new exciting live set ready to launch in Feb/March. All launch
dates will be announced shortly.
In the meantime if you don't have plans Chick Flick will rock there way into 2008 at O'Malleys Mooloolooba this New Years Eve. Onstage for 4 sets of rockin action. Hope to see you all there to break in 2008.
