Not since the early days of Joan Jett’s “I love rock and roll’ has there been a band willing to break down rock’s gender barriers as much as Chick Flick.

Queensland’s very own answer to all girl rock and roll. With 5 years of show stopping under their studded belts, Chick Flick continue to generate a collection of fans celebrating a sound often described between the likes of a ACDC, The Datsuns and The Runaways.

In recent months Chick Flick have finished recording their follow up EP “Ladder 69’ introducing a familiar yet fresh sound, tracked by Stuart Niven at Modern Music Studio, mixed by engineer extraordinaire, Jeff Lovejoy at Black Box Studio in Brisbane and mastered by William Bowden in Sydney.


Chick Flick’s first EP ‘Sneak Preview’ endorsed a profile through 4zzz’s Top 20 Album playlist nomination, radio airlplay on Triple J’s - Mel’s Morning Show, Video clip “Nasty Girl’ enduring airplay on television program ‘Rage’ & Channel V, recently chosen for up and coming independent movie 'Crooked Business by Australian novelist and filmaker, Chris Nyst and inclusion onto RACQ’s ‘Free to Go’ secondary school DVD campaign featuring Chick Flick track ‘Scream’.

With new EP ‘Ladder 69’ tightly clenched into their hot little hands Chick Flick resume rock duties to sanction more fans with 5 new tracks and a live experience sure to make feet stomp, hips swing and air guitars wail!
